You will be working in groups to construct 10 loose sentences and 10 periodic sentences. Each group will be listed as a separate thread: respond with your examples as a reply to the thread.
The examples can be divvied up any way you deem fit, but do make sure that all group members contribute to the process. Even if you have an absent group member, be sure to get in touch with the group member to inform them of their work.
This activity is worth 50 points, which amounts to 2.5 points per sentence. Your sentences will be graded based on whether or not they fit the criteria of a loose or periodic sentence (1.5 points) and whether or not they are grammatically sound (1). Each group receives a group grade, so be sure to work collaboratively through this process.
