Ethos, logos, and pathos are constantly in motion in arguments, and work together both with one another and with other rhetorical strategies (such as diction, imagery, details, etc.) to construct powerful arguments.
Read Zara Gelsey's "The FBI is Reading over Your Shoulder" on pages 579 - 582 in The Bedford Reader. Answer questions 1, 2, and 3 under the "Questions on Language" section of page 583. Also, find at least one instance each of ethos and pathos, explain its function, and determine which method of logical development you feel Gelsey incorporates to frame her argument. (By method of development I mean, of course, inductive reasoning, deductive reasoning, or Toulmin's Method)
