Read pages 314 - 315, and the first two paragraphs of 316, in the handout. Then, read from the bottom of page 521 to the top of page 524 in The Bedford Reader. Then, answer the following questions:
1) What other methods exist for argumentation beyond Toulmin's model?
2) How are these methods constructed? What is the difference between the two methods? What examples do the texts give for each?
3) Create an example argument based on each of the two methods you read about.
